L3 Sonoma EO announced today that it has been named as a prime contractor on the Chemical Surface Detector (CSD) contract by the Joint Project Manager for Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Contamination Avoidance (JPM NBCCA) within the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD).

Saab to deliver CBRN equipment to INTERPOL

Interpol orders CBRN sampling equipment from Saab

Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Interpol, the international police organization, is to receive customized chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear sampling equipment from Saab.

The Interpol order of six sampling units, together with a certified packaging container for CBRN samples, are for the organization's BioTerrorism Prevention Unit.

Battelle’s David Winkel Receives Prestigious Billy Richardson Award

Winkel is the third Battelle researcher to win this award. An 11-year employee at Battelle, Winkel has tested joint service general purpose masks and various types of chemical detection equipment, participated in field tests with tracer gases to validate contaminant transport models, and conducted field tests with the explosives detection canines that, among other roles, secure the nation’s airports.
