Richard (Rick) Rowe brings a wealth of experience to ARKTIS and his appointment comes at an exciting time for the Zurich-based manufacturer of radiation detection systems. The company has recently received a contract from DARPA to develop the next generation of neutron detectors and has just completed the installation of one of its FLASH Portal Monitors at Swiss Steel where the company will use the system - originally designed for Homeland Security applications – to conduct a final check for inadvertently contaminated scrap metals headed for its furnaces. ARKTIS – which works with governments and security agencies around the world - has also been involved in a number of trials of its innovative MODES_SNM Radiation/Nuclear detection system at ports across Europe.
