Eight children were taken to the Rosenhöhe hospital for observation, and two were taken to the children's hospital for more severe symptoms. Due to the number of injured the fire brigade declared the incident a mass casluaty incident in order to secure enough responders to deal with the treatment of those injured effectivley.
The man responsible has claimed he did it because he "felt disturbed by the children." He was arrested by federal police on the spot and charged with "multiple dangerous assault". As yet there have been no reports on what the substance used by the perpetrator actually was.
