CBRNe Convergence Europe great success
CBRNe Convergence Europe took place over the 16th to 18th May, and attracted nearly 250 people to the UK's capital.
CBRNe Convergence Europe took place over three days in Westminster, as Central Hall a majestic building opposite Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. The first day was a pre-conference workshop run by Public Health England, looking at the psychosocial impact on crowds of CBRN attacks. The second day was the first full day of the conference which saw 240 people, 34 exhibitors, four clinics, a demo from the Metropolitan Police and hundreds of questions. The second day followed the same format, but had a demo from the London Fire Brigade.
The trial of the CBRN clinics was deemed a great success. These saw 12 moderators and four rapporteurs grilled by the audience, as they struggled with the big questions that make up a CBRN incident.
