300 poisoned

A man has been arrested, and has reportedly confessed, to the poisoning of nearly 300 people at a restaurant in Shirqat on August 17th. Reporting states a pest-control substance was put into the restaurants drinking water tank. The National Security Service identified and detained the suspect after surveillance and preliminary investigations, the suspect told investigators he acted out of jealousy and revenge after the restaurant grew successful. Initial reports put the number of people affected around 80 before it rose to nearly 300. Most have been discharged after treatment and 48 remain under observation.
