More drones, more explosives

In an update to the story of the explosive laden drone found at Leipzig airport on August 5th, German authorities found a third drone and more explosives on August 25th at an additional location near the airport. According to local outlets, on August 14th a previously unknown drone was discovered in a field to the west of Leipzig/Halle Airport. Investigators analysed the device and subsequently found around 50 grams of the explosive hexogen at the same site. The Federal Criminal Police Office’s (BKA) are investigating the case on behalf of Federal Prosecutor General.
