Lethal injection
Gulfam Singh Yadav, the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, one of Inida's main political parties, was killed in March after three unidentified people injected him with a poisonous substance in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal district.
The BJP leader, who was also the former regional vice president of the party's western Uttar Pradesh unit, died on his way to the hospital. A forensic team collected evidence from the site of the incident, including an empty injection. The autopsy did not reveal a cause of death, and an investigation is ongoing.
