Bear Spray Attack

Several people were injured after being exposed to bear spray during an attempted robbery. Police say two suspects entered a retail store in the 2300 block of McPhillips Street and tried to steal a 55-inch television.

When confronted by store staff, an adult male suspect assaulted an employee, while a youth suspect discharged bear spray. Approximately 15 people were impacted, including staff and customers. They didn’t require medical attention. Both suspects were subdued by staff and bystanders until police arrived.
