Another illegal biolab

After receiving a tip that a biolab was located within a house on the east side of Las Vegas SWAT served a search warrant and found the tip to be solid.

According to a statement by LVMPD investigators “located evidence of possible biological material, including refrigerators containing vials with unknown liquids.” Law enforcement took special precautions when serving the warrant, including using a robot to clear the home and taking multiple air samples. Hazmat teams worked to remove items from the home.

According to some reports several days after entering the garage, two people became “deathly ill,” and they “could not get out of bed”.  A tipster also told police the house contained “many dead crickets” and several people had gotten sick.

The FBI has opened an official investigation. It claims the Las Vegas lab is linked to another illegal lab in California that was shut down in 2023, which was investigated by US Congress. Congress found the California biolab had received millions of dollars from Chinese banks and held more than 1,000 genetically modified mice as well as samples of diseases including HIV, malaria, COVID and even Ebola.
