Russia launches biological detector
Limited information is available from Tass, but the Russian military launched its bio detector this week at their annual defence expo.
"Russia’s Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) has presented a new independent automatic alert sensor for biological reconnaissance purposes, named MAAS-BR, at the Army-2023 military forum and exposition, a TASS correspondent reports." It went on to state that the sensor can discriminate between bacteria, viruses, rickettsia and toxins and is likely to be rolled out in 'public places.'
