Next generation of handheld assays to include mobile phone compatibility

Researchers at the University of California Riverside are developing a BWA/CWA assay that they hope will integrate into a mobile (cell) phone for use by first responders and law enforcement. The research, led by Nosang Myung, is in its eighth year and is sponsored by Nano Engineering Applications, Inc.
