Ralph Suppa serves as CEO of Cervitas a hazmat training and consulting company. He is a Captain serving with a major metropolitan fire department and has over two decades of frontline experience in hazardous materials and special operations. He has completed advanced chemical and biological agent training at Dugway Proving Ground, the COBRA facility in Anniston, and the U.S. Army’s Edgewood laboratories, working with live chemical and biological materials. Ralph also trained at the Nevada Test Site on radiological/nuclear devices and has extensive experience developing hazmat medical protocols. He serves on the IAFC Hazardous Materials Committee, including the Lithium-Ion and Bulk Energy Storage Systems Workgroups. Published and internationally recognized, Ralph has spoken at NFPA’s Conference & Expo, the JOIFF Summit in Ireland, and the NCEC Hazmat Conference in the UK, equipping responders for CBRNe threats worldwide.
