#  DON'T lick toads!

After some wild weather, the Phoenix-area has become party central for rare toxic toads and mysterious mushrooms!

The Banner Poison Control & Drug Information Center issued a stern warning to anyone trying to lick those trippy toads (because of course people are doing that) or snack on yard mushrooms of uncertain origin.

One zoologist even shared how his own German Shepherd survived a toad taste-test and told folks if they find themselves or their pets in this situation to rinse immediately, don’t let the body overheat, and head straight to the ER.

Just because the rain brings more creatures and fungi, doesn’t mean it’s an open invite to this “desert rave.”
