An updated version of the center’s former Technical Emergency Response Training Course, BERT is geared at any responder who may be called upon to support mass casualty operations associated with a chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear incident.

The revision includes information about two skills not previously included in the curriculum – liquid product transfer and overpacking drums.

Completions result from responders taking one or more Virtual-Instructor-Led Training presentations or one or more self-paced courses in the center’s online training library.
