#  Virtually there

The long awaited Chemical and Biological Defense Science and Technology conference is now open for abstract submission [here](https://cbrneworld.com/%5C%22http://www.cbdstconference.com/home.aspx%5C%22). CBDST is the largest CBRN science and technology conference in the world, with a superabundance of streams and papers, but due to budgetary constraints/official guidance it did not occur in 2013, and 2014 will see it become 'virtual.' Currently there is no date for the event, it has a loose date of 'Spring,' but the deadline for abstracts is the 7th of Feb.

It is unlikely to have the vibrancy of previous events, purely because of the lack of physical interaction, but the standard of papers is likely to be as high as previous years. As soon as we find out more information we'll let you know!
