#  UK MOD procurement opportunities

**Gas Detection Equipment**
The contracting authority requires quantity 189 handheld Gas Monitors and quantity 63 Calibration Kits. The equipment must be capable of simultaneously monitoring Oxygen, Carbon Monoxide, Hydrogen Sulphide, and Flammable Hydrocarbons in real time and alerting the user immediately when an environment is considered harmful to health. The system must detect the Short Term Exposure Limit (STEL) for harmful gases and be able to detect harmful gases from a stand off. The solution must be small, robust, lightweight, waterproof and simplistic in nature for training and ease of use, requiring minimal maintenance.
