# Spot goes Dutch!

Written by Zoe Rutherford on 08 June 2021.

A recent multidisciplinary exercise at the National Training Centre CBRN involved a special player, none other than Spot! The scenario was an attack on a metro station in which not only firearms were used, but also possible CBRN agents were deployed. The exercise involved the CBRN Responseenheid, EODD, RIVM and LTFO working together to bring this difficult case to a safe conclusion. The chemical was identified by reconnaissance, people were disinfected and forensic traces secured. Finally, the Police Specialist Operations Service brought in the exploratory assistance of their mechanical four-legged friend 'Spot'.
