#  Raising our standards

Falcon Consultancy are pleased to announce that they are now providing independent explosives detector testing to the newly released ASTM international standard for explosive trace detectors. The new International standard has finally been released by ASTM. The standard, labelled “E2677, Test method for determining suitable limits of detection in explosive trace detectors” is specifically designed for Homeland security applications. The much needed update from the previous E2502-07 standard has been welcomed by industry and first responders alike.

Michael Verkouteren, National Institute of Standards and Technology stated; 'Independent standards such as E2677 provide reliable values for limits of detection giving security planners the ability to make informed decisions about the most appropriate systems to procure.'
