Emergent BioSolutions is a public corporation traded on the New York Stock Exchange and currently supplies BioThrax®, the world’s only anthrax vaccine licensed in the United States, Singapore and Germany. With the acquisition, Emergent will become the source for RSDL®, Reactive Skin Decontamination Lotion – a patented broad spectrum skin decontamination product intended to remove or neutralise chemical warfare agents or T2 toxin from the skin, leaving a non-toxic liquid that can be washed away with water.
