# Conference still goes ahead

Written by CBRNe World on 29 October 2012.

CBRNe World
Conference still going ahead despite Hurricane Sandy. There is disruption to flights into Norfolk, we’d suggest avoiding Newark and NYC as hubs and aiming for Dulles or Charlotte. Driving from DC if you are coming in to the hub is wet, but we drove the route last night and it was a safe drive - but watch for advisories.

Norfolk itself has had some flooding right on the sea front and tunnels have been closing around high tides, High tide today is 0924 EST.

Keep an eye on your email and this site for further information and updates about any advice or support.
