#  Basic Radiation Protection Technology book, now available for free

​After a continuous run of 39 years and 6 editions, the printed version of the Gollnick textbook *Basic Radiation Protection Technology* has gone “Out of Print” as of the beginning of 2022.

Printed copies are no longer available. However, in view of the continued interest in the material, the author, Daniel Gollnick, has made the text available to the general public, as an electronic “pdf file”, under a Creative Commons License, at no cost, i.e., FREE TO EVERYONE! The text *BASIC RADIATION PROTECTION TECHNOLOGY* by Dr. Daniel Gollnick is designed to prepare you for the written examination given by the National Registry of Radiation Protection Technologists (NRRPT).

Dr. Gollnick's materials were developed to meet the needs of both experienced technologists as well as people new to the field. Examples and applications are drawn from a variety of practical settings including reactors, hospitals, universities, nuclear accelerators, government labs and industry.
