#  908 Devices land some TSWG cash

908 Devices, manufacturer of the M908, announced that they had received $2.6 million in funding from the U.S. government’s Technical Support Working Group (TSWG). This multi-year award covered development and testing of a handheld device that would leverages 908 Devices’ mass spec technology. Their aim is to achieve higher levels of selectivity and sensitivity for field identification and detection of trace explosives. 908 Devices will use this funding to make improvements and enhancements based on the feedback they have received from civilian users, first responders, and military teams.
