#  NUVIATech delivers CoMo surface contamination monitors to Canada

NUVIATech Instruments recently announced they have delivered 21 CoMo surface contamination monitors, along with two Floor Bogeys-floor contamination survey systems, to a major Canadian Nuclear Utility.

These instruments strengthen the site's radiological protection toolkit and accelerate day‑to‑day operations.

 Nuclear operators face recurring challenges in contamination control. This delivery directly helps address: 🔹 Slow contamination checks CoMo’s thin scintillation detector foil and large detection window enable fast, sensitive alpha and beta/gamma scans, reducing bottlenecks at RCA boundaries and during maintenance. 🔹 Inconsistent measurements Stable high‑efficiency scintillation detection and automatic background handling provide repeatable, accurate readings, improving confidence across survey teams. 🔹 Durability demands Rugged, lightweight construction makes CoMo ideal for high‑use field environments. 🔹 Time‑intensive floor surveys The Floor Bogeys enable rapid wide‑area floor monitoring, reducing manual sweep time and speeding up area release.
