#  CBRNe Convergence 2026 - Call for papers now live

The CBRNe Convergence call for papers is now live! All the details you need to submit are below, so get reading and get writing, looking forward to reading some greeat submissions this year.

**Date:** 3 - 5  November 2026.
**Location:** Knoxville, Tennessee.
**Submission Deadline:** August 31, 2026

CBRNe Convergence brings together the people who don't just study CBRNe threats, they live them. Military personnel, emergency responders, law enforcement, government agencies, industry leaders and researchers gather each year to exchange knowledge, challenge thinking and discover solutions that strengthen preparedness.

These are the people that you want to listen to your groundbreaking research, innovative technologies, operational case studies or just new ways of thinking. Present your work to the professionals who put it into practice.

**Previous speakers have represented organisations including:** MIT, Argonne National Laboratory, FEMA, United States Postal Inspection Service, The EPA CBRNe Consequence Management Advisory Team, The Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO), National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START), and University of Hertfordshire.

**We welcome submissions covering topics such as:** CBRNe detection and identification**,** Emergency preparedness and resilience**,** Military and civil defence**,** medical countermeasures**,** HazMat operations**,** Emerging technologies**,** Training and education**,** Lessons identified from operational incidents**,** Risk assessment and threat mitigation**,** Artificial intelligence and digital innovation in CBRNe, and more.

**Submission Guidelines:** Submit an abstract of **up to 500 words** outlining your objectives, methodology and key findings.

**Presentation Format:** Accepted papers will be presented either as oral presentations or posters. Please indicate your preferred format when submitting your abstract.

Those that are selected for oral presentation will also receive the privilege of having their paper published in CBRNe World. Speakers also will receive free entry for the duration of the conference and workshops.
