Dr Guillaume Hersen

Dr Guillaume Hersen is presently Capability Manager of the CBRN Defense at the Armament General Directorate (DGA) of the French Ministry of Armed Forces. As such, he is responsible for preparing the CBRN defense system of the future in collaboration with armed forces. It includes the analysis of the threat, the definition of the defense system as well as the identification of the studies necessary to achieve it.

Before that, he has worked as a technical expert and department head at the CBRN expertise center of DGA (DGA CBRN defence) where he developed test facilities in order to evaluate CBRN detectors and aerosol collection systems. Dr Hersen earned his PhD in Physics of aerosols in the university of Paris-Est
