Dr Isroil Samihardjo
Head of Commission-1 of Jakarta City Research Council.
Dr Samihardjo has been working for the Indonesian government for 33 years, and most of his services are dealing with CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear); started as a researcher at the Ministry of Defence in March 1985.
Dr Samihardjo's active involvement in disarmament affairs has led him to participate in several United Nations conferences and international meetings since 1991 either as a member or a head of Indonesian delegation, or as a speaker. He has also been invited by several international organizations to deliver speeches. He has also been invited by several Indonesian organisations as a trainer and motivator at several courses and institutions since 1985. up till now.
In May 2006 he was promoted to Director of CBRN up until June 2013. Currently he is deputy chief for student affairs (vice rector) of Indonesian State College of Intelligence Studies or STIN (Sekolah Tinggi Intelijen Negara) and he is also chairing the Center for Strategic Intelligence Studies Center of that college. He got a Masters Degree of Defence Studies (MDefStud) from the University of New South Wales (in cooperation with Australian Defence Force Academy), at Canberra in 2003. He graduated from Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, majoring in environmental sciences. He is candidate doctor for human resources management at Universitas Negeri Jakarta
