Andreas Gisholt Gustavsen
Nurse anaesthetist and Paramedic, specialized in CBRNe with focus on high consequence infectious diseases (HCID) and preparedness
Andreas has worked 16 years as a paramedic in the Ambulance Service in Oslo. He is CBRNe responsible for the special operations unit in Oslo, Norway. In addition, he oversees HCID in the National Rapid Response Unit in Norway and is part of the RescEU team, which transports HCID patients across the EU. Andreas is also part of the NOR-EMT Norwegian Emergency Medical team.
Andreas has extensive experience working abroad. He was part of the Ebola Response Team in 2014 and part of NOR-EMT response team in Bergamo in 2020. In terms of training, Andreas was responsible for CBRNe training in Lebanon and Jordan with the EU in 2018 and EpiShuttle training with the WHO in the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2018/2019.
