Dr. Jeffrey M. Brodeur, Colonel (Retired), U.S. Army, is Vertical Market Manager for Safety and Security at Rigaku Analytical Devices. He leads government market development for handheld chemical, narcotic, and explosive identification across the United States, Latin America, and partner nations. He concluded his military service as Assistant Commandant of the U.S. Army Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear School, following assignments with the Department of State on nonproliferation and counterproliferation. Dr. Brodeur is a Teaching Professor of Homeland Security at Columbia Southern University, where he teaches the Advanced Seminar in Weapons of Mass Destruction. He holds a Doctor of Management from Colorado Technical University and is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and the Army War College. His research examines the sensor to decision delay in CBRN response. He serves as President of the Chemical Corps Regimental Association.
