Lester D Strauch III
Mr. Strauch currently serves as the Division Chief of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command – Chemical Biological Center (CCDC-CBC) Prototype Integration Facility (PIF), Advanced Design & Manufacturing (ADM) – Product Realization Division. He provides technical oversight for most of the programs within the ADM business unit. His division provides rapid product development services using state-of-the-art equipment and processes, fully integrated with extensive manufacturing capabilities, the group provides rapid response lifecycle solutions from Concept-to-Product with effective optimization of design, performance, manufacturability, cost, and schedule.
Mr. Strauch has 33 years of project management and design experience in the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) defense environment. Mr. Strauch is highly skilled in the implementation and use of sophisticated CAD, CAM, FEA, and CFD engineering software packages. Mr. Strauch is also a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in design for manufacturing, assembly, and integration. His background includes chemical and biological agent detection, collection, decontamination, individual protection, UGV/UA payload design, sensor integration, and reconfiguration of Army vehicles.
